The House of Emma, 2018, was built in honor of Emma Louise Durham. It was constructed from sheets of double-wall, corrugated cardboard, wood trim, purchased windows and doors, and lots of love and hard work. It took approximately 5 months to complete.

Building Memories to Loved Ones Gone By -- I miss you grandma!

Who was this daughter of a sharecropper?
Emma Louise Durham was a young wife who gave birth to eleven children who in turn gave her two generations of grandchildren. Each day of her life as the wife of a lowly tenant farmer (sharecropper) became harder and harder to bear. However, with all her strength, her love of her children, and a strong devotion to God, she pressed onward...

I honor this beautiful lady with this awesome home.
