Course Descriptions and Prerequisites
Beginner Course (8 weeks)
This fun, 8 weeks course is designed for the student who is interested in learning the ins and outs of building with cardboard. The course consists of planning, designing, and building a basic one-story house consisting of 4 walls, a roof, a floor, and a base. Membership into the online support group, Cardboard Artists, Builders, and Miniaturists United, along with the guide, Building with Cardboard Made Easy... are required for enrollment into the online course. Instructional class materials will be provided on a weekly basic by the instructor(s).
Intermediate Course (10 weeks)
This intermediate/advanced level of building with cardboard is for the students who are ready to master an architectural level of learning. This 10-week course involves developing a blueprint, drawing up building plans, and using the blueprint and plans to build a complex cardboard structure with multiple adjoining walls, flooring, a roof, windows, doors, etc. The guide, Building with Cardboard Made Easy... is a requirement for membership and online participation. The Beginner's course is a prerequisite for enrollment into this advanced level course.
Making Cardboard Accessories and Figures (TBA)
